On the 13 day of April 2016 I opened an investigation into the death of Lauris Kodors , 32 years old. I opened an inquest on the 6th day of May 2016. The inquest concluded on the 29th June 2016. The conclusion of the inquest was “Rail Collision”, the medical case of death was 1a Multiple Injuries
Circumstances of the Death
Lauris Kodors was struck and suffered fatal injuries in the Harrow Tunnel at about 10.10 am on the 11th April 2016 on the Southbound railway line. Mr Kodors was not discovered until later on the 12th April 2016 and confirmed as having died on the 13th April 2016.
