Full Review of Operation Tayport
I recommend that, as soon as is reasonably practicable, the MPS undertake a full, thorough review of all aspects of Operation Tayport. The review should be conducted by a senior officer appointed by the Commissioner with no inhibitions about critical examination of the conduct of SCD7, SCD11, and CO19. The object of the exercise is to serve the interests of the Service and thus the public. The resultant report should be made to the Commissioner for such further distribution as he may direct.
