We recommend that relevant central government documents - particularly those of the Cabinet Office and No 10 - be transferred to the National Archives, thus enabling full public access to this material in the future.

Implemented. Central government documents relating to Hillsborough that were disclosed to the Panel have been transferred to The National Archives. The Panel's report stated: "The Panel recommends that central government documents relating to Hillsborough which were disclosed to the Panel be transferred to The National Archives at Kew in due course, with redactions agreed by the Panel retained."
