Recommendation 65: Copy of Order and explanation for parents
From The Report of the Inquiry into the Removal of Children from Orkney in February 1991, published 27 October 1992.
Recommendation
A spare copy of the Order should be given to and left with the parent when the child is removed or delivered to them at the earliest practicable time thereafter (16.38). In addition to the copy of the Order a clear explanatory document should be made available to the parents (16.39).
