This investigation focused on the actions of two City of London Police officers who left a man who was showing signs of being drunk and incapable in a bus shelter without calling for medical assistance. Eight minutes later two Metropolitan Police Service officers found the man in the same location and then called an ambulance as he was unresponsive. The man died in hospital a week later.
