Child Maintenance Client Funds Accounts 2020-21: 1993 and 2003 Schemes Account

For the 1993 and 2003 schemes, the Department should continue to review the service it is providing to parents and ensure that it: • maintains adequate records and has a clear process to support parents who have concerns around the accuracy of arrears balances that are now being collected;

• reviews its interpretation of the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations to ensure that it retains records to meet its responsibilities to ensure adequate accounting records are retained and available for audit, in line with requirements of the Companies Act 2006 and National Archives guidance.
