The Elective Recovery Taskforce is working to ensure that innovative solutions to tackling the backlog are adopted across the country to ensure that access to care is not dependent on where you live. This includes supporting collaboration between systems and providers to ensure that capacity is used most effectively and that patients are offered the opportunity to travel to a different hospital where they can be seen sooner.
