The Government agrees that it is important that ICBs have regard to mental health and public health. The Health and Care Act 2022 places a duty on ICBs to have regard to the need to reduce health inequalities, which includes mental health and public health. The Act also places a duty on ICBs to promote integration, which includes mental health and public health.
