1.1 We agree with the Committee’s assessment that this is the right time for the Integrated Review. The Review is an opportunity to define and strengthen our place in the world at a time when the global landscape is changing dramatically. 1.2 We also agree that the pace and nature of technological change is an important factor to consider. The UK will need to be adaptive and work with a broader range of allies to compete and build advantage in this more complex landscape. The Integrated Review will address this.
