The government must urgently clarify the circumstances in which shared ownership providers will exercise the vote of a shared ownership property— either by publishing draft regulations alongside the final bill, or by publishing a statement which sets out the “specified purposes” under which shared owners may not have a vote during the 10-year initial repair period.
