14. The Government recognises atrocity prevention as separate from conflict. By establishing a Mass Atrocity Prevention Hub, the OCSM seeks to identify and work with convergences between conflict prevention and atrocity prevention where they exist but provides for dedicated focus where they are distinct. The Mass Atrocity Prevention Hub focuses on mass atrocities that occur both in conflict and non-conflict settings. 15. The UK is a global leader on action to tackle Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV), committing £50 million since the launch of the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI) in 2012. Marking 10 years from the launch of the PSVI, on 28th and 29th November the UK hosted an ambitious international Conference to encourage much-needed global action to stop CRSV.
