We are partly reassured by the evidence of NHS England’s National Clinical Director for Women’s Health that the renewed Women’s Health Strategy for England will include measures on ensuring women have sufficient information in advance of procedures to make informed choices; improving training for healthcare professionals; and new pain relief options.
