We agree with the Minister that there are consequences to State Pension age increases which can, and should, be taken seriously. There is evidence that the longer wait for their State Pension will harm 66-year-olds unable 64 to keep working till 67. Government support for the transition must include introducing additional social security support for people unable to keep working to State Pension age. (Conclusion, Paragraph 89)
