We acknowledge this and recognise that keeping the public safe must be the Government’s highest priority. 16. Agree. Following the end of UNITAD’s mandate in September 2024, Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council established the National Centre for International Judicial Co-operation (NCIJC) in October 2024. The centre is Iraq’s legally designated authority for international judicial cooperation and evidence- sharing on counter terrorism.
