4.1 The government agrees with the Committee’s recommendation. Target implementation date: Summer 2021 4.2 The IPA and HM Treasury will write to the Committee in these terms. Of course, decisions on any additional funding will be a matter for ministers to determine in the forthcoming 2021 Spending Review. The envelope for the Spending Review will be set out in due course.
