Conclusion
On the basis of a report by the Comptroller and Auditor General, we took evidence from HM Treasury (the Treasury) and the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority (NISTA) on the lessons learned from government’s past use of private finance for infrastructure projects.1 We also took evidence from Darryl Murphy, Managing Director, Infrastructure at Aviva Investors, and Bruce Dalgleish, Partner at P2G LLP.
