We recommend that the thresholds for the Enterprise Investment Scheme and the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme be increased further, to fully reflect inflation to ensure that UK scale-ups can access the finance they need. The Government should consider improving tax reliefs for new products that allow firms to leverage their intangible assets, such as data or intellectual property, to secure finance.
