We welcome the Government’s commitment to regulating energy brokers. Poor practices in this sector have already caused and will continue to cause significant harm to smaller businesses. It is vital that legislation is not delayed. The Government needs to set out a clear timeline for action and provide SMEs with certainty about when these protections will come into force.
