The urgency of the Government’s responsible business conduct review has been underlined by the new US tariffs connected with forced labour. We reiterate our previous recommendation that the Government introduce mandatory human rights due diligence legislation and an import ban on goods produced with forced labour, building on the foundations of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
