The UK COVID-19 Inquiry published its Module 5 report on procurement on Tuesday 14 July, its fifth published report. On Monday the Environment Secretary announced a statutory inquiry into the death of Zane Gbangbola, the seven year old who died during the 2014 Surrey floods, with a chair appointed at announcement. The Orgreave Inquiry opened its core participant application window the same day.
The Lampard Inquiry sat four days (Days 49 to 52), continuing its July 2026 hearings into mental health inpatient deaths in Essex. The Undercover Policing Inquiry continued Tranche 3 (Phase 3) evidence, publishing transcripts for Days 11, 17 and 19.
