Coroners Concerns
_ The two The first is that (here was only one lifebelt available. This was some distance from where Mr Broom was fishing and was difficult to spot Witnesses (hought a lifebelt may have helped Mr Broom (0 survive. The second is that there was no lighting at the end of (he harbour wall so that visilors lo the harbour at night could not judge where the wall ended and in addilion made the aforementioned lifebell almost invisible very
Action Should Be Taken
In my opinion action should be taken to prevent fulure dealhs and believe you, or your organisation has Ihe power t0 (ake such action_ Extra lifebelts positioned around the harbour. Adequate lighting to be installed.
