On 11 September 2018, one of my assistant coroners, William Dolman, commenced an investigation into the death of Jack Hubbard, aged 18 years. The investigation concluded at the end of the inquest earlier today. I made a determination that death was drug related.

The medical cause of death was: 1a methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA) toxicity
Circumstances of the Death
Jack Hubbard ingested MDMA at Egg Nightclub in London on the evening of 24/25 August 2018.
