On 11 2014 commenced an investigation into the death of Mark Burdett 54 years old_ investigation concluded at the end of the inquest on 9 January 2015-The conclusion of the inquest was that Mr Burdett's death was road vehicle death
Circumstances of the Death
On 10 July 2014 Mr Burdett was riding his motorcycle along Blythe Road, Coleshill when he came into collision with a car exiting from Blythe Hali: heard evidence that a sign stating "Hidden Entrance or similar would increase road safety by alerting motorists to the entrance: At this point along Blythe Road the speed limit is 60 mph.
Action Should Be Taken
In my opinion action should be taken to prevent future deaths and believe you as Chief Executive of Warwickshire County Council have the power to take such action_
