In any major structural reorganisation in the NHS in Scotland the Board or Boards responsible should ensure that an effective and stable management structure is in place.

Work is ongoing locally and nationally to support leadership and management development through high-quality programs and training schemes. NHS boards are also contributing by building local leadership and management capacity and capability as part of their workforce plans to deliver the 2020 Vision.
