Mandate joint inspection programmes for educational and welfare oversight of residential schools

Recommendation

The agencies responsible for educational and welfare inspections of private residential schools accommodating children with SEN pursuant to section 347 of the Education Act 1996 should be required to agree joint programmes of inspection and reporting.
