Recommendation
The Inquiry Panel recommends that the PSNI training in public order includes awareness training on the specific roles of the crew within a public order vehicle.
Context
The recommendations chapter was prepared in 2011. The report states that no further evidence for this chapter was received after 2011 and that some recommendations may have been overtaken by the time of publication in September 2026. Implementation has not been assessed by this import.
