Full Decision

The Ombudsman's final decision

Summary: A tenant complained about the way the Council handled her application for a transfer to another property. But there is not enough evidence that fault by the Council in this respect has caused the tenant a significant injustice. Therefore, we will not investigate the complaint.

Final decision

We will not investigate Miss B’s complaint about the Council’s failure to give her family priority for a transfer due to the impact of anti-social behaviour and their related health issues. This is because there is not enough evidence to suggest that fault in the Council’s assessment in Miss B’s case has caused her an injustice to warrant our further involvement.
