The Ombudsman's final decision

Summary: We cannot investigate Mr B’s complaint about his concerns regarding his adult learning courses. This is because the law prohibits us from investigating education provision.

The complaint

Mr B complained about the difficulties he has accessing his adult learning courses. Mr B says he should be allowed to submit his workbook as evidence he has completed the course and want the Council to let him sit the online examinations needed to acquire the qualification.

We cannot consider complaints about education provided by councils through Adult Training providers.
