The Ombudsman's final decision

Summary: We will not investigate this complaint about gates on a right of way as the matter has been resolved.

The complaint

Miss X complains the Council rescinded permission for her to install gates on a public right of way. Miss X says this caused stress and difficulties with her livelihood.

My assessment

Miss X has contacted me to withdraw the complaint as she says she has resolved the situation with the Council and no longer wishes to proceed. As such, we will not investigate.

We will not investigate Miss X’s complaint because she has withdrawn it.
