The government agrees to proactively encourage dialogue around the UK’s colonial legacy, including the Benin Bronzes. The FCDO's Diplomatic Academy has run staff training to enhance understanding of the colonial legacy. They will support museums and galleries in the UK in their ongoing dialogue with Nigerian authorities.
