Government Response Summary
The government acknowledges COVID-19's disproportionate impact on women and girls, citing funding for UNFPA and support for women's rights organisations, and mentions social protection efforts to mitigate increased unpaid care responsibilities. However, it does not commit to refreshing the Strategic Vision for Gender Equality, convening an external expert panel, reviewing the Delivery Board, or appointing a Special Envoy on Gender Equality, and refers to a new Programme Operating Framework being developed instead of detailing Smart Rules implementation.
