We call on the UK Government to write to us with updated progress on the negotiations in early 2021, following the new administration taking office. We also urge the UK Government to discuss lifting the ban on lamb during trade talks.

The government provides an update on US trade talks and states they will continue working with the new administration to facilitate UK lamb exports once the US Small Ruminant Rule is published, but does not commit to writing with updated progress in early 2021 or explicitly discussing lifting the ban.
