Government Response
The government rejects the committee's assertion that it had acknowledged mandatory ethnicity pay gap reporting, stating it has instead accepted a recommendation for voluntary reporting and will not legislate for mandatory reporting. It will, however, provide guidance for voluntary reporting by Summer 2022.
