We welcome the undertaking that the Secretary of State will take a broad and holistic approach to assessing the impact of State Pension age rises in his own review, due by March 2029. If this undertaking is met it will be an improvement on past practice and approaches. It will also be a demonstration of the culture change that we have said is badly needed in the Department.
