The government should amend the exhaustive list of Close Family Members in clause 93(2) to add an additional catch-all final category: “(g) F is the next-of-kin”. This will ensure that family members such as grandchildren, nieces and nephews of the deceased can be considered Close Family Members. (Recommendation, Paragraph 106)
