We asked the Department whether it has a clear understanding of the homes delivered resulting from its legacy investments to unlock land. The Department acknowledged the initial lack of tracking and told us it is now retrospectively tracking how many homes have been built on land unlocked by initially untracked legacy programmes.25 Homes England explained that it has completed retrospective tracking for 90% of land projects and 30% of infrastructure projects and expects to take 12 months to complete this analysis.26
