Government Response Summary
The government reiterates its ambition for UK connectivity and its strategy through the £5 billion UK Gigabit Programme, detailing planned spending of at least £1.2 billion by March 2025 for 5 percentage points of the final 20%. The response does not, however, address the committee's concerns regarding delays in abandoning previous targets or the process of setting the new one.
