Recommendation 31: National guidance on inter-area co-operation

From The Report of the Inquiry into the Removal of Children from Orkney in February 1991, published 27 October 1992.

Recommendation

The national guidance should include guidance on the principles to be followed where authorities or agencies of different areas require to co-operate in dealing with complex cases of child abuse together with other particular matters suggested in the main Report (15.64-65) and a new title should be given to the national guidance (15.66).
