Recommendation COVID-M6.7: Mandatory End-of-Life Care Training
From Module 6: Care Sector, published 20 October 2026.

The training should be developed in conjunction with health and social care regulators and provide, at a minimum:
an understanding and enhanced knowledge of how to deliver high-quality end-of-life care as well as the support available; and
communication skills to be able confidently to conduct and document conversations about advance care and, where appropriate to the professional’s role, decisions on Do Not Attempt Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (DNACPR).
