Mr X complained that Ceredigion County Council (“the Council”) had failed to undertake a timely assessment of an alleged planning breach and to, if appropriate, take enforcement action.
The Ombudsman contacted the Council and secured its agreement to, by no later than 1 November 2021, both respond to the complainant about its findings in respect of the alleged breach, and to offer both an explanation of and apology for the delay in doing so.
