Government Response
The government rejects the direct extension of the NHS Staff Survey to social care, citing structural differences and lack of HR functions in many social care providers. While agreeing on the importance of monitoring staff wellbeing, they instead commit to increasing engagement with the social care sector and supporting NHS organisations through existing mechanisms like the People Plan and Wellbeing dashboard.
